Restaurant Assistant Manager - Butlin's

Our restaurants are busy and fast paced for our team; providing friendly and efficient service to our guests allowing them to relax and enjoy a tasty meal. In the absence of the manager, the assistant manager will be responsible for the day to day operation of the restaurant and lead from the front by delighting our guests with a memorable restaurant experience.

With the support of your manager, the purpose of the role is:

•Role model behaviour by leading the way as a visible presence in the restaurant delivering exceptional customer service
•Identify both individual and team training and development needs
•Ensuring we have the right people in the right place at the right time by focusing on accurate rota’s 4 weeks in advance
•Ensure your team are communicated with and are up-to-date with relevant information
•Analyse KPI’s to control food and labour costs  
•Implement stock control systems to maximise gross profit margin
•To deliver consistent standards by managing short term tactical and longer-term action plans to achieve business KPI’s
•To comply with menu specifications and ensure they are implemented and maintained by the team
•Ensure a safe working environment by complying with current legislation with regards to Food Hygiene Regulations, HASAW Act, COSHH and HACCP, as well as the company policy

We are looking for someone with:

•Experience of delivering a great customer experience in a restaurant environment
•Level 2 Food Hygiene is essential, Intermediate Food Hygiene is desirable
•Knowledge of stocktaking, labour control and health and safety practices in catering
•A passion to deliver exceptional food quality and service
